Primary Schools Cup. Primary Schools Cup is an annual outdoor, one-day tournament aimed at at students in years 4-6. Held at Craigslea State High School, this event adopts the Spikezone competition format playing four-a-side mini volleyball on smaller courts and lower nets. Attracting over 800 students, athletes of all skill levels are welcome.

Beach Schools Cup. Beach Schools Cup is an annual, two-day, school-based beach volleyball competition. As the only volleyball competition of its kind, Beach Schools Cup attracts participation from South East Queensland to North Queensland. This event is typically held during term one. Aimed at high schools students of all year levels, Beach Schools Cup divides participants across three divisions: Junior (Years 7 and 8), Intermediate (Years 9 and 10), and Senior (Years 11 and 12).

On Thursday, the 2nd of September, 38 students from Years 5 and 6 competed in Volleyball Queensland’s Primary Schools Cup. The day was full of fun, laughter and lots of great opportunities for students to learn about volleyball and team cohesion. Teams pursued through the highs and lows of volleyball, with one team winning a bronze medal. We hope the players had as much fun as we did and that they will be back again next year for another great tournament.
Junior Pirates Camp is an introductory camp designed to teach the basic skills of volleyball. From beginners to trained athletes (Years 7 to 10), the camp is a great opportunity for students and new coaches to refine their techniques while having some fun in the school holidays.
